2008 TOUR (Page 10)

"AS DAVE COLLECTS ONE OF EVERYTHING ...

WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER SPEEDWAGON!"

Posted: November 23, 2008

Did you all read the recent Dave page update? With respect to acquiring guitars Dave told Ken that he is going to:

"collect one of everything."

Well ... given the number of shows and amazing touring machine that is REO Speedwagon ... and given we will now have more guitars to "shoot" with our cameras ... and given REO Speedwagon fans are not only the greatest fans in the world but also the greatest photographers in the world ... this will undoubtedly translate into more photo submissions to www.daveamato.com.

Do you know what that means Dave fans! I'll tell ya:

We are gonna need a bigger Speedwagon to hold all the new guitars and incoming photos!

So ... I went out and bought one so it could all fit ... because Dave and the band are expanding to the another level!

I received the cool photos and email below from Jeanette Schmitz and they will be a fine addition to the bigger wagon.

She writes:

So glad I finally got a free moment to send you some pictures from Kinder LA. (September 20, 2008) ... it was  so much fun. REO fans are so much fun and always so friendly. So I was in the front row in front of Dave ... AWESOME. I'm sure he thought I was a poparattzi!!! It just was so cool to see him so close. I couldn't stop taking pics ... oh well ... the guys are so great. Bryan handed me a drum stick after the show ... Anyway, here are the pics I hope you can use some of them! I am seeing them next in Evansville with my sister!!!!

And see them again she did:

In our exchange of emails about the shows, we talked about the natural high you get after an REO show. She writes:

" We (my sister and I) saw them in Nashville at the Wild Horse Saloon on Nov. 13, 2008.

I know what you mean about that natural high after the show...it does last for a while...I really want to go and see them for the last show in Las Vegas!!! It is just so much fun to go to the show and sing the best music, dance like crazy and at this last show, made some new friends...REO fans are so very friendly ... anyway, it really is the best place to have fun and forget about the rest...and now that I met them you feel like you are truly with friends."

YOU GOT IT JEANETTE ... THE BAND DOES HAVE A WAY OF MAKING YOU FEEL LIKE ... WE ARE ALL ONE BIG HAPPY ROCKIN' FAMILY.

She continues:

"OK ... so until the next concert....hope you enjoy these pics:"

Jeanette ... totally awesome stories and photos!

After seeing the photos and reading your email; I think I speak for all REO fans when I say we are all now on a ...................

Natural REO High!

I received these great shots from Blake Wigley and his parents!

I'm only 17 and LOVE REO!!!! I went to the REO concert last Saturday 11/15/2008 in Fulton Square presented by Harrahs Casino. My parents won tickets to the concerts so they took pics.

Thanks for sending in the photos!!

Blake ...

you and your parents rock!

I received these cool photos and email below from the legendary www.daveamato.com photo contributor Cindi Rawkin' Carter.

Whenever I see her name in my email in box ... I get the same feeling of excitement and anticipation I get moments before REO Speedwagon is about to take the stage ... because I know her pictures are:

...'gonna rawk!

She writes:

"Here are my pictures from Jack's 3rd Show (in Irvine, CA) at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, September 27, 2008! Once again REO rocked the house!  They were awesome, and everyone there was there for the party!"

WOW!

THOSE PHOTOS ROCKED!

Everybody:

THANKS FOR THE PHOTOS!

Everybody else:

THANKS FOR READING!

After hearing from you all and posting all these great photos ... all I have to say is ...

This new wagon is bigger, better, and badder than ever!

Take care everybody and ... .....................................

See you down front with Dave at the next REO show!
